he Aero Club of New England (ACONE) is first and foremost a social club for people that share a passion for flight; for active pilots, former pilots, and non-pilots alike who love to learn about flying, love to talk about flying, and love to promote flying.

Our ranks range from the obscure to the legendary, yet all members contribute to a progressive and vibrant climate that inspires the special joie de vivre that only flying can bring. Past members have made significant contributions to aviation and are considered New England's Aviation Legends and can be seen on the attached video (click on Legends to view.  A hard-wired direct broadband connection is desirable for better viewing).

Driven by our members' wide and varied interests, ACONE hosts many social events throughout the year; co-produces safety seminars with the FAA and the AOPA Air Safety Foundation; manages and awards over a dozen educational scholarships for pilots and aviation technicians; and advocates with federal, state, and local regulators for the advancement of flight.
