Mastering ForeFlight
Description: ForeFlight Master Class
This FAA Wings Credit eligible course starts with the fundamentals of flying with ForeFlight, and builds towards advanced scenario-based planning. Over the course of three hours, you’ll develop skills and confidence in using the app to its fullest potential. You will learn how to setup and navigate the ForeFlight app, download the information you need, find information quickly, use textual and graphical weather tools, setup aircraft and performance profiles, plan both simple and complex routes, leverage the power of ADS-B weather and traffic in flight, connect ForeFlight to supported avionics, brief and file VFR and IFR flight plans, and utilize a variety of other functions such as logbook, weight & balance, and track log recording. Finally, you’ll get a variety of “quick tips” throughout the presentation to help you use the application more easily and efficiently in flight. As a new or existing user, you can expect to walk away with serious ForeFlight know-how you can use on your very next flight. Attendees are encouraged to bring their iPad with ForeFlight installed and follow along throughout the course.

Directions: By plane: park at the main ramp, walk a course of 50 degrees for 100 yards.
By car: Enter the airport complex from Sutton Street and park at the base of the tower. Follow the crowd.
