Aero Club WINTER ICEBREAKER:
Ross Elkort, Flight Test Engineer, BETA Technologies

Plan on joining ACONE for the first Icebreaker event of 2024, Thursday, February 1st at 6 pm. We're thrilled to welcome Ross Elkort, Flight Test Engineer with BETA Technologies, to discuss his role in the development of the new ALIA electric aircraft.

BETA technologies is an electric vertical take off and landing aircraft company based in Burlington Vermont, currently working on two prototype aircraft and a nationwide charging network to make sustainable aviation a reality.

Ross Elkort is a flight test engineer who has been with BETA for 3 years since graduating from the university of Vermont. He works in both the control room and onboard the prototypes during test flights monitoring all of the real time telemetry, taking notes, and providing feedback to the design engineering teams.
